Music: James Ray & The Black Hearted Riders

Well this w/e was wiped out as I was off to Bristol for a gig, so I’m paying for it today. No matter, as the light levels stubbornly remain poor here so i can’t photograph the Little Challenge figures still after 5 days ! yes they are complete, and on time.

Tom and I arrived early as it was a small venue (no tickets, so first come first served), and scored a place right in front of the mixing desk (i.e. best seats in house).

Seven performers on a really small stage belting it out in a raucous manner.

Gothic psychedelic folk rock complete with mandolins.

Louis the camera took this one for me, apparently.

We were also early enough for the soundcheck so got an extra bit of music.

A rare outing for James Ray et al, maybe coming to a festival near you soon.

In the meantime, visit their shop and buy some merchandise !
