The Cult of the Yellow Sign (the Boyz in da Hoods)

Finally finished off the current incarnation of the war band of The Cult of the Yellow Sign for today’s Frostgrave gaming session.

The minions are thieves and thugs, with two archers. They are mostly from the Frostgrave Cultists plastic box set and are great to put together. I have started to add in some parts from the Frostgrave Soldiers box, and one of the thugs has arms from the old WHFB Mordheim/Empire militia plastic set.

A couple of the minions need some highlights but I turned up with all 13 models painted.

Yup, thirteen.

In Frostgrave the maximum number of models in a war band is ten.

Unless you have an Inn as a base, when you can to a maximum of 11.

And if you equip the Inn with a kennel, you can get another Warhound…12.

Oh, and don’t forget to raise that Zombie ! (13)

A fitting number for the war band I feel.

To add to the glaring yellow elegance, I added in some sartorial input for myself whilst playing.

Had a couple of t-shirts done up with the Yellow Sign. πŸ˜‰

As my copy of the Hastur Cycle is in storage, I went on line and bought the 2nd Edition version that arrived yesterday..not in time for me to start picking names for the war band other than the Apothecary is obviously going to be Dr Archer.

WE had the games session, and I’ll be publishing the results shortly…it went well. πŸ™‚
