Back to Normality

“Five to one against and falling…” she said, “four to one against and falling…three to one…two…one…probability factor of one to one…we have normality, I repeat we have normality.” She turned her microphone off — then turned it back on, with a slight smile and continued: “Anything you still can’t cope with is therefore your own problem.”

At last !

The builders have finished, and I now have a floor in the kitchen, utility and downstairs loo. Only the decorators to come on Tuesday which is neither here nor there. Lots of cleaning to be done, and I’ll have to do some painting myself.

Its been very stressful because every day I had to cope with a partially dismantled kitchen piled up high with stuff from the utility. The builders’ indulged in random appearances early in the morning, and required supervision with the tiler needing my help to shift stuff round. In other words a lot of aggravation. So I have done little painting for the last couple of days. I even bought the new Dark Elf cavalry that came out and have asssembled one singl rider. I’ll review the kits tomorrow as its an interesting turn of events…

And of course the cats have been most discombobulated throughout this.

NB:
Video clip is from the original TV series.
Text, is from the book.
The floor tiles are a bit shinier, but the floor needs mopping to get rid of the powder residue of the grout.
There’s a lot of cleaning to be done.
I learnt a lot more building tricks.
