Tree Stumps

Now I’d never thought I’d get excited about tree stumps, but I bought a pack at Colours from Urban Construct. I’ve tried sculpting them before, but it just didn’t work out properly. I wanted some tree stumps to cover parts of the battlefield with to make a change from the full steady state growth woodlands, and plain bushes.

So I bought a pack of 8 stumps for £7, so not breaking the bank:

I decided to make three scenery stands (using 5 of them), on my basic CD bases. I did a blitzkreig of this project to get them done ASAP as there was a dfanger I’d have to host another AVBCW event and needed more scenery. I’d got some large cork chippings from Antenocitis also at Colours so decided now was as good a time as any to add them to my basic soil mix.

I also added leaf litter, and rubberised horse hair bushes to the bases.

I think they came out quite well.

All these bases of scenery will be useful for AVBCW and Warhammer. probably also for BoB/RCW.

This is the right webpage for everyone who wishes to understand this topic. You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a brand new spin on a subject that has been discussed for years. Wonderful stuff, just excellent!
